Avocado Carbonara

Delight in this creamy and guilt-free Avocado Carbonara, featuring turkey bacon for a healthier twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 6 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 8 ounces spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  4. In a blender, combine avocados, Parmesan, sautéed garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  5. Drain the pasta and combine with avocado sauce and crispy turkey bacon.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
