  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cardamom.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the sliced pears.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
