  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder to the beef. Mix well.
  3. In each tortilla, place a portion of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese. Roll up tightly.
  4. In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chimichangas until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
