- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tub whipped topping
- 1/4 cup grated chocolate for garnish
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until well blended.
- Pour the cherry pie filling into the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread the cake batter over the cherry filling.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
