Blackened Shrimp Stroganoff

A savory and bold dish combining succulent blackened shrimp with creamy stroganoff sauce, served over your choice of pasta.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened.
  3. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Season shrimp with blackening seasoning, then add to the skillet, cooking until shrimp is pink and fully cooked.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and let it thicken for about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Toss cooked noodles in the sauce and shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For additional heat, consider adding cayenne pepper to the blackening seasoning.
