- 2 pounds beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the beef short ribs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade.
- Place the ribs in a roasting pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Roast in the oven for 3 hours, checking occasionally.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to caramelize the ribs.
- Once done, let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
