Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Recipe

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring tender chicken and crispy turkey bacon.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cups provolone cheese
  • 1 hoagie roll
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté sliced onion and bell pepper until soft.
  3. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Once chicken is cooked, add turkey bacon and provolone cheese to the skillet, cover, and let cheese melt.
  5. Toast the hoagie roll and fill it with the chicken mixture.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra spice, add some jalapenos or hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
  • Use leftover rotisserie chicken for a quicker preparation.
