  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 package of pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in flour and gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring until thickened.
  4. Add chicken, carrots, peas, and potatoes to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the filling into a pie crust and cover with the second crust. Seal edges and make slits in the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • To prevent the crust from getting too brown, you can cover the edges with foil.
  • Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
