  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup espresso powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
