- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup espresso powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
