Creamy Bacon Carbonara

A deliciously creamy carbonara made with turkey bacon for a lighter twist on the classic dish.

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, then pour the egg mixture over. Stir quickly to avoid scrambling the eggs.
  6. Mix in chopped turkey bacon, season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped parsley as a garnish.
