Dutch Baby With Maple Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet in the oven.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot skillet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. While the Dutch Baby is baking, whisk heavy cream and maple syrup until soft peaks form.
  6. Remove the pancake from the oven and serve immediately topped with maple whipped cream.
