  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cookie dough (prepared or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cocoa powder, sugars, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, followed by the flour and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. In a greased 9×13 inch baking pan, spread half of the brownie batter, followed by an even layer of cookie dough.
  7. Top with the remaining brownie batter and use a knife to swirl lightly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • These brookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Try adding nuts for extra texture!
