  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add carrots and celery, cooking until softened.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in oregano and basil.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add shredded chicken and egg noodles, cooking until noodles are tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
