Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onions until caramelized.
  3. In a bowl, mix turkey with Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Form turkey into patties and cook in the skillet until browned.
  5. Top each patty with cheese and allow to melt.
  6. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on rye bread.
  7. Assemble patty melts with bacon and onions on top, and close with another slice of bread.
  8. Butter the outside of the bread and grill until golden brown.
