Pistachio Tiramisu

A rich and creamy pistachio tiramisu that offers a delightful twist on the traditional dessert, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 1 pack ladyfingers
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Start by grinding the pistachios into a coarse powder.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  5. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture quickly, then layer them at the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Sprinkle a layer of ground pistachios on top.
  8. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For added texture, reserve some chopped pistachios to sprinkle on top before serving.
  • Allow the tiramisu to chill for at least 4 hours for the best flavor.
