- 1 cup pistachios, shelled
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
- 1 pack ladyfingers
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- Start by grinding the pistachios into a coarse powder.
- In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- Combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture quickly, then layer them at the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Sprinkle a layer of ground pistachios on top.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
