Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs

Delicious and easy to make, these Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs are the perfect comfort food for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the beef broth, sour cream, and Dijon mustard. Pour the mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  5. Serve the meatballs with the sauce over egg noodles or rice.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sauté the meatballs in a pan before adding them to the slow cooker.
  • These meatballs can also be served as an appetizer with toothpicks.
