Tasty Pumpkin Pie Brulee with Bourbon Vanilla Recipe

  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, bourbon, spices, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Fill the baking dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  6. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on top and use a torch to caramelize until golden brown.
