Tiramisu Cookie Cups Recipe

A delightful dessert that combines the flavors of traditional tiramisu with the fun of cookie cups.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and cocoa powder until just combined.
  5. Press the dough into a muffin tin to form cookie cups.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let cool.
  7. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, brewed coffee, and coffee liqueur until smooth.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  9. Fill each cookie cup with the mascarpone mixture and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, skip the coffee liqueur.
  • These cookie cups can be made ahead of time.
